Ken

This is me :)

Monster Bass

This is a bass I caught at Gibbons Creek Reservoir in Texas. I caught her in a tournament on a texas rigged lizard and released her after the picture was taken. She weighed 10lbs 3oz and was 24" long. Gibbons Creek Reservoir is a small power plant lake near College Station, Texas. I grew up in College Station and have alot of fond memories fishing at Gibbons.

Ken and 6pounder

The pic on the left is a six pounder I caught at Gibbons Creek Reservoir. I was using a black zara spook late in the evening, and was fishing in 10 feet of water. I had a friend take the picture, and released her back into the lake.

Ken at Fayette

Here I am again, this time at Fayette County Lake near La Grange Texas. This is a fat 4 pounder I caught from a brushpile in 25 feet of water. I was using a carolina rigged pumpkin/chartreuse lizard. It was a cold but sunny spring day. I have put around 20 of my own brushpiles in this lake and can usually count on bass being on one of them.

Here I am with a 7 pounder I caught at Lake Fork. I caught her on a black/blue craw worm in 15 feet of water. I was visiting my friends Charlie and Penny, they run Secret Haven Resort right on the lake. They are two of the nicest people you could meet. Charlie guides on the side, and he put me on alot of good bass while I was there. As always I had a real good time while I was there. I cant wait to get back up there and fish that stump infested lake.

Kens Ranger

The love of my life...My Ranger

Pictured above is my Ranger Sport R82 that I bought in Feb. 1998. My Ranger is 17' 10" in length and 88" wide at the beam. It is powered by a Mercury 150hp outboard motor with a four blade stainless steel prop. I had power pedestals added to the fishing seats, and a deck extension to the front deck. I also added a hotfoot a surface temp gauge and trim tabs on the steering wheel. I have a 62lb thrust MotorGuide trolling motor, and 3 depth finders to top off my "Dream Fishing Machine". I have had other brands of boats, ridden in other boats, and looked over numerous others, and I can say without a doubt Ranger makes the finest fishing boat on the market. It is very smooth in calm water and rides like a dream even in rough water. It is also very fast, top end seems to be around 68 mph. Im sure I'll buy another boat in the future, and you better believe its gonna be a Ranger.
